Sidharth Shukla Last Rites: Gauahar Khan, Disha Parmar, Suyyash Rai And Zareen Khan Slam Paparazzi For Mobbing A Grieving Shehnaaz Gill At The Actor’s Cremation
Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2. He was only 40, and reportedly was planning to tie the knot with Shehnaaz in December, 2021
Sidharth Shukla was laid to rest on September 3 in presence of friends and family, including his lady love Shehnaaz Gill. She and Sidharth had been inseparable ever since they exited the Bigg Boss 13 house - until death did them apart. When Shehnaaz, who was at his residence, arrived at the crematorium, she was mobbed and hounded by prying photographers. One of them even asked her how she was feeling.
Gauahar Khan, Disha Parmar and others took offence to this, and posted on Instagram, criticising the insensitive attitude of these paps. Disha's Insta story read, “Shoving the camera in a grieving woman's face to get her reaction is the most insensitive thing ever!! Why is it so hard to understand!!!?? Unreal!!”
Gauahar said, "This is shameful! The media houses all alike should be ashamed of this kind of coverage."
TV actor Suyyash Rai, who just became a father, also was furious. He said such events should be let kept family affairs.
Actress Zareen Khan shared a video of the paps mobbing Shehnaaz as she stepped out of the car at the crematorium. Slamming the mediapersons, she wrote, “What the F**k is wrong with the media? The poor girl is already going through so much and this is how you behave at her most vulnerable time just so yu can get some exclusive footage of hers for your benefit. When did humans become so heartless??? My heart goes out to @shehnaazgill... stay strong girl."

Sidharth is survived by his mother and two elder sisters. The actor was cremated today at the Oshiwara crematorium.
